Greenvale Vineyard Donates $2000 to the 375th Fund

At the final meeting of the year for Portsmouth's 375th Steering Committee on Tuesday evening, Committee member Nancy Parker Wilson presented a check to the 375th Committee for $2000 from Greenvale Vineyard (the 375th's official vineyard). This generous donation will add to the fund for developing a Portsmouth History Center in the Portsmouth Free Public Library in the coming year. Shown in the photograph is the Chairman of the 375 SC Doug Smith (me), Carolyn Magnus, Director of the Library and Nancy Parker Wilson. Greenvale vineyard has been a major contributor to our 375th anniversary celebration, supporting our events and bottling a special 375th Label edition of their popular "Skipping Stone" wine. Only a few cases of this 375th label wine are still available at the vineyard - they make excellent Christmas or New Years presents.
