The Town Council chambers were filled on Tuesday evening to hear Town Historian Jim Garman's 375th Anniversary lecture on "Portsmouth 100 Years Ago." Jim's next lecture will be held in the same location at 6:30 PM on Tuesday, 21 May. The topic will be "Transportation in Portsmouth" and will include some rarely seen photographs of the way people traveled around Portsmouth in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. 

Note that this date has been changed from a previously scheduled date of 14 May - for the latest information on all Portsmouth 375th events, please check the 375th website at www.portsmouthri375.com . In addition, videos of all of Jim Garmans lectures will be available to watch online shortly after they occur. Please check the 375th website frequently for details of event video availability.
