ReplyMore of the "if it saves even just one life, isn't it worth it?" If you really believe in the aforementioned mantra, why not ban ALL extreme sporting events, NASCAR, boxing and anything that might give you a splinter? Government needs to stay out of our lives!

By that logic, we should ban the automobile. An auto accident is the number one killer of young adults. We would save more lives than banning guns.

FYI, Christians typically follow the teachings of Christ, which can be found in the "New Testament". Leviticus 25:44-46 isn't likely to come up in any Christian sermon. I just wanted to make sure that if you are going to bash Christians, that you, at the very least, know what a Christian is. And as to your earlier comment about science proving God irrelevent, Albert Einstein once said, "Science without religion is lame. Religion without science is blind."

So one guy writes a book, and all of a sudden most animals exhibit homosexual tendencies? Give it a rest please.

ReplySounds like more bureaucracy to me. They'll spend more time and money writing self evaluation reports intended to show what a good job they are doing. Just eliminate the darn thing.

@Dan: I've got to hand it to you. Equating the quest for gay/lesbian/bisexual/transgender marriage to the Holocaust is pure genius. I guess we should round up anyone opposed to your view and try them for war crimes. It's been fun. Over and out.

Reply@Dan: I'm not going to get into a religious argument, but first and foremost, Christianity focuses on the New Testament. Secondly, anyone can quote text out of context. And finally, if you support two guys getting married, why would you be against polygamy? Why put any boundries on marriage at all?

I do have to hand it to the liberals for comming up with very good names for their movements and for labeling the opposition with defamitory names. Marrige equality supporters vs. homophobic, religious zealots. It could just as easily have been called defenders of tradition marriage vs. gay/lesbian/bisexual/transgender marriage. Doesn't sound quite the same, does it?

Where does it end Henry? How about mandatory condom laws? We could eradicate AIDS. Of course, there would have to be stiff penalties for it to be effective.
