ReplyAs we all know, Mosquitos are terrible this year! We have noticed a huge population specifically in the island park area. With EEE and West Nile being found in places they have never been found in the past, now more than ever is the time to be pro-active. I think it is great that Portsmouth has stepped up to the plate and decided to treat a public area to benefit the local children. I myself, owner of Mosquito Terminators, can certainly vouch that these eco-friendly mosquito control products certainly help significantly! With that being said, if you have a problem in your yard, give us a call - 401.293.0616 or www.mosquitoterminators.com

The most proactive thing to do is eliminate breeding areas. Any standing water is a prime location for mosquitoes to breed. Tires, wheelbarrows, buckets, bird baths, and watering cans are just a few examples. Mosquito larvae can remain dormant for up to 5 years before hatching!
