Chris has written for newspapers and news media for more than 40 years. He previously wrote for The Spectator (Somerset, MA), The Herald News (Fall River, MA), Wareham Courier (Wareham, MA), The Sentinel (Marion, MA) and Taunton Daily Gazette (Taunton, MA) and was Sports Editor of the Warwick Beacon and Cranston Herald for more than three years. Chris has also had three articles and photographs published in national magazines during the past ten years. In addition to his duties with Patch, Chris is currently also a freelance publicist and public relations consultant. He's very excited to be part of Tiverton-Little Compton Patch and look forward to many years of service in these communities.

An ardent fan of most sports, Chris is also a Civil War buff, with special interest in the Battle of Gettysburg and the Battle of Antietam. He holds both a bachelor's and master's degree in communications.
