The big issue in Massachusetts is the noise. The people who live around the wind turbines get two types of noise .Regulatory and infra sound which is a low frequency sound. These sounds do exist .You've heard of a dog whistle or deer whistles on cars you can't hear but the animals can hear it.

The problem is the" noise " travels over the roofs of the homes and creates a sound like the back window of your car open about an inch making a whooping sound 24/7.

Massachusetts is operating an experiment using human subjects and history will hold the politicians responsible .The families of the politicians will have to live with the experiments their families did to other families in Massachusetts

The state of Massachusetts has been tracking noise complaints in Falmouth since 2010. The state put together a group of pro wind ,politically connected study group that came up with pre determined result that wind turbines don't make noise. Local residents have hired their own acousticians which prove the state semi quasi state agencies provided one sided reports for installing megawatt turbines in residential locations.

In December on 2011 the president of the company that made the Falmouth wind turbines admitted that wind turbines have noise problems both regulatory and infrasonic. http://www.windaction.org/documents/33830

The state of Massachusetts has gone forward providing towns with model bylaws to continuing building the turbines in Fairhaven, Kingston and Scituate. The state is conducting medical experiments just like World War II . Residents have become POWs . The have lost the American Dream. The right to a home,a job and happiness. Many residents refer to the random assault of the turbines as torture

The placement of commercial wind turbines in Falmouth, Mass., has caused severe health issues to the local neighbors. The infrasound and shadow flicker have caused many to get sick. The turbines are too close to residential homes. The Falmouth wind turbines were shut down from 7 PM to 7 AM over health issues.

The Massachusetts DEP has now found the Fairhaven wind turbine non compliant. Both the Fairhaven Board of Health and Select Board shut these turbines down over people not being able to sleep and health issues.

Residents in Failmouth, Fairhaven, Kingston and Scituate are very concerned for the well-being of their children and their health.

Massachusetts has a renewable energy goal of 2000 megawatts of renewable energy by the year 2020. The Mass DEP has been dragging their feet on health issues. If you live within 3000 feet of a commercial wind turbine your health could be in jeopardy. The state will not enforce the regulations

The Quonset Development Corporation has spent $22.3 million in federal stimulus money or what was called a Tiger Grant to build the infrastructure for ocean wind turbines. The large crane system has already been built. Quonset Point has around 120 acres of land. The area is an old military base complete with ocean piers, an air field and is home to the largest barge company in the world and the headquarters of the largest marine contractor in the world.

Massachusetts is just starting to build an ocean wind turbine port at a cost of over 100 million dollars that Massachusetts politicians say will compete with Quonset Point ,Rhode Island. The site in New Bedford is less than twenty acres .

Quonset Point is a former military installation. Why not just use Quonset Point as the headquarters for the ocean wind project and bring all the jobs to Rhode Island. It seems a waste to build a small port in New Bedford, Massachusetts ?

Make sure your real estate agent tells you how "green" they are. For example how close will proposed commercial wind turbines be built near your homes ?

The politicians hide behind generalizations like, "I'll get back to you later" or "the part only costs a few dollars."
