What Are You Giving Up for Lent?

Today, Ash Wednesday, marks the beginning of the Lent. What are you sacrificing this year?

Lent, the 40 days leading up to Easter Sunday, makes up the most venerated days in the Christian calendar. Today, Ash Wednesday, marks the beginning of the Lenten season when Christians are asked to prepare for the resurrection of Jesus Christ through repentance, prayer, atonement and self-denial. It has become common for many Christians to sacrifice one vice they have during the Christian liturgical season. So, what are you giving up this Lent? Really addicting reality TV? Chocolate? Alcohol? Words with Friends? Or, have you decided to give up an inner bad habit, such as negativity or jealousy? Tell us in the comment section below!
