Upcoming Graduation Is A Time For Reminiscing
Christina Lantz explains why next week's graduation makes her reflect on life since high school.
The class of 2011’s graduation ceremony at Portsmouth High School has me thinking about my last days at good ole PHS. It was 1994. As an aside, most of the class of 2011 was born that year, too. Ugh. Anyway, apart from exams and mandatory rehearsals, the week was spent hanging out with friends, going to cookouts and the beach. One day, after some of our exams were done, a group of friends and I went to the Harbor Mall, when it was a little less sad than it is now, to see what is still one of my favorite movies, "Ace Ventura: Pet Detective." While we were walking around, we found a small shop with these great sunglasses. They were knock-off Ray Ban Wayfarers, but there were rhinestones lining the rims and earpieces. They were great. We …

Congratulations to Christina, But unless you already have direction, the loss of the routine, pressure to perform on tests, and deliver papers on time will be missed.
