After struggling for years with state approvals and federal regulations, the Greenleaf Compassion Center, Rhode Island's second medical marijuana center, is expected to open next month.  The Greenleaf Compassion Center previously planned to open its distribution center at 200 Highpoint Ave., Unit B-6. Seth Bock, who owns and operates the Newport Acupuncture and Wellness Spa in Middletown, later decided to move the center to 1637 West Main Road.  Jim Hummel recently sat down with Bock and spoke about the center's opening. I personaly don't see how in this day and age anyone can call being pro medicinal marijuana being soft on crime. I agree totally with you. The laws must also be changed at the federal level. If not, there will always be the shadow of them shutting down any operation that has been deemed legal by states. I've always advocated that marijuana should be legalized for any reason, not just medical.   more ›
