Zenon 'Babe' St. Laurent, 107, amazingly goes dancing every Tuesday afternoon.
Zenon "Babe" St. Laurent, an Island Park resident, is no ordinary senior citizen. At 107 — yes, 107 — Portsmouth's oldest resident continues to go dancing every Tuesday afternoon at the Liberal Club in Fall River. He recently danced with this Patch editor and taught her a step or two. Babe also continues to play the guitar regularly inside the Portsmouth Multi Purpose Senior Center's recreation room, which bears the name the "Zenon 'Babe' St. Laurent Game Room." St. Laurent also enjoys playing pool; however, he has cut back recently on the game due to his eyesight, according to friend John Silvia. Featured above is a video showcasing the incredible talents of this 107-year-old, who says his longevity is due to his "will to live."
