This is an Honest Men run auto service shop. On Wednesday I've called the shop and spoke with the owner. He gave me an estimate that was fair and very competitive in comparison with other auto shops in the area. He came very well recommended by two of my co-workers both who know the owner for well over 15 years. To my surprise the owner told me that there were things that need not be repaired, and only fixed that which needed to be fixed. The repairs were completed on time and $100 under estimate, the mechanic did a great job, save me money on things that I've thought I needed to repair.

David Beard and his crew are honest and reliable. We began taking our cars to Valley View when we first moved to the island over 12 years ago -- we had asked around, and the word-of-mouth recommendation was Valley View. There's a good reason that their lot is always full!

I had and engine rebuilt by this shop a few years ago, and he said he rebuilt it at a cost of 1800 dollars, he did not rebuild this engine, and it started knocking, he never did anything to this engine, he took advantage of a women and would not honor anything,
