They are committed to offering local goods from Manic Organic, Simmons Farm, Allen Farm, Aquidneck Farms, Run Dog Run, and Wishing Stone Farm, to name a few. They are also supporters of local transitional farms that are attempting to become certified organic. They specialize in natural and organic products.
I love their products. I love the way they care about you and want your business. I'm driving a few miles to shop there, but it's not even a bother when the products are so healthy and good for the environment.
Having a store with this sort of focus on Aquidneck Island is precious!

You can be amazed at how many products they have there. Not sure if there is organic pork rind but I do love the vegan jerky! Now if only they were allowed to sell organic beer!
Aside from being a wonderful place to do your grocery shopping, The Green Grocer also generously donates produce to the Norman Bird Sanctuary which helps us feed many of our education animals. These animals are used to teach thousands of students, across RI, about animal groups, invasive and native species, habitat requirements, and so much more. We love this store and are so grateful for their help!!
