Melville Elementary School is one of two elementary schools in town. Starting this fall, former students of Elmhurst Elementary School will attend Mellville Elementary School. Mellville Elementary School will continue to house students in pre-school through third grade. Students entering the fourth and fifth grades will attend the Portsmouth Middle School, starting fall 2010.
