Your Guide: Portsmouth 375th Anniversary Parade

Celebrate Portsmouth 375th anniversary with this weekend's parade.

It’s going to be a weekend of celebrations as Portsmouth commemorates its 375th anniversary. To honor the founding of our town and its history, Portsmouth has been conducting events all year – including this weekend’s parade.

The Lord Mayor of Portsmouth, England (the namesake of Portsmouth, Rhode Island) and the mayors of Portsmouth, New Hampshire and Virginia will also be in attendance.

The event kicks off on Saturday at 10 a.m. on East Main Road at Patriots Drive, before heading south towards Turnpike Avenue.  The parade will then move west on Turnpike Avenue and on to Memorial Drive where it will conclude around noon.
