'Rhode Race' Celebrates Portsmouth's 375th Anniversary

In honor of Portsmouth's 375th anniversary, the Portsmouth Business Association will host the Portsmouth 375 Rhode Race at Common Fence Point in Portsmouth this Saturday.

Get ready, set, go! A race, 375 years in the making, run through Portsmouth this weekend. 

In honor of Portsmouth’s 375th anniversary, the Portsmouth Business Association will host the Portsmouth 375 Rhode Race at Common Fence Point in Portsmouth this Saturday. 

The 3.75-mile run or walk will start at 10 a.m. from the Common Fence Point Community Center.

The flat course offers beautiful scenic water views. 

The first 150 registered participants will receive a premium “dry fit” running shirt.

Participants can register online at www.PortsmouthBiz.com or the 
morning of the race starting at 9 a.m. 

The cost of the event is $25. All proceeds will benefit the Portsmouth High School scholarship fund. 

Each year, the PBA awards scholarships to two exceptional Portsmouth High School students who intend to pursue a career in business.
