Don't Miss the 39th Annual St. Barnabas Festival this Weekend

The can't-miss event of the year in Portsmouth is this weekend.

Portsmouth is the place to be this weekend for food, rides, raffles, music, and much more at the 39th Annual St. Barnabas Festival.

If you didn't make it on Friday, don't fret. There's still today and tomorrow to take part. 

There's a Chinese auction, Message in a Bottle and Bake table on Saturday along with a Teddy Bear Picnic, line dancing with Jo Vierra from noon to 1 p.m., the much-anticipated variety show at 7 p.m. and music from the band "Born Ready" under the tent at 6 p.m.

On Sunday, the live auction with more than 100 items will go on at 12:30 p.m. Prizes include lobsters, trees, a Newport Gulls package, concert tickets, a Kindle Fire, and more.

There are also raffle prizes for $1,500, $500 and $250, in addition to endless food, amusements and on and on.

The festival is located at the church grounds at 1697 East Main Road.
