Where Teal for Today To Fight Bullying

East Bay Martial Arts is supporting Bullying Awareness Month and raising money for RIPIN's Walk to Stop Bullying by wearing Teal.

Most of you I'm sure know it's Breast Cancer Awareness Month and have been showing your support by wearing pink. As a daughter, neice and friend of breast cancer survivors I support this effort whole heartedly. However today I'm asking you to join me and the students of East Bay Martial Arts and wear Teal for today.

Teal is the color of Bullying Awareness. October is also Bullying Awareness month. My martial art students and staff will be showing their support by donating a $1.00 to wear something teal or to buy a teal Stop Bullying in RI gel bracelet. The money raised will go to RIPIN (Rhode Island Parent Information Network) to help support their upcoming walk to stop bullying (May 4th 2013). The walk raises money to provide mini grants to schools and organizations for bullying awareness education.

If you are interested in learning more about Bullying Awareness month, the RIPIN Walk or would like to buy a gel bracelet. Call us at 401-683-3892 or log onto our website eastbaymartialartsonline.com
