Sisson Pond Gator

Gator in Sisson Pond

So is the gator still in the waters of Sisson Pond?  I am going to be taking my children fishing there and would like to know if I should take extra percautions.

The gator laid eggs awhile ago and now they have hatched. There are at least 85 to 100 new hungry babies in there now along with a very protective mother.

Unlikely the gator could have survived the (admittedly mild) winter on its own. Unless it had Betty White helping it ala Lake Placid (the movie). You should be more afraid of ticks.
