After fully thinking this situation completely out, I may have come up with a solution to solve our ranking of producing the most stupid students in the country. This Rhode Island state must pay our teachers more money. Class room student/ teacher ratio must be lowered to 10 to 1. Students should do their homework immediately after given the assignment in the classroom, This would improve any memory loss from the days lesson. Perhaps an assistant teacher could be present for each class to help the student. Decaying schools are another problem. We must build new schools with better equipment, better lighting and scented air-conditioning. I feel with this hip hop culture and the way people come to school, teachers dressing improperly must change. Kids must be able to recognize teachers from students in hallways. WE MUST NOT LEAVE ANY KID BEHIND especially on the bus. No yout should have to stay back just because of lousy teachers. Promoting the child will give him or her a feeling of accomplishment to start the new year. Summer school does nothing but having the child feel stupid and it is degrading in front of all his or her peers So much has to change in our school system. Lets all rally around our tax dollarssss and help. Thank you for reading,

A sense of humor is indeed a wonderful thing. The sad fact is here in Rhode Island its a necessity to enable honest, hardworking and dignified people to cope with the profound uncaring attitudes that abound across our state. I may run for mayor in Johnston and I hope your folks will log onto johnstonsunrise.net and check out my commentaries and make a comment.

This report must be wrong! The principals, the Superintendent said the East Greenwich schools was among the best of the best in the nation.
