The Portsmouth School District is seeking to hire a business manager, according to an advertisement posted Monday on the district's employment website, Schoolspring.com.
The position, believed to be new, offers a salary of $60,000 to $65,000.
The business manager will be responsible for a number of financial duties, reporting to the director of finance and administration. Some of the duties include general ledger accounting, monthly general ledger close and revenue/expenditure reporting, and oversight and supervision of the department payroll function.
