Carousel Rehearsal Diary: Blocking scenes

Less than two weeks till the opening and we still have a lot of work to do.  Pianist Flo Oliviera has volunteered to help learn the songs and play for some of them in the show.  We have rehearsal tracks on CDs but it is often easier to follow a pianist then a recording so we appreciate Flo's help.

We are meeting other cast members as we get to their parts in the play.  Veronica Kelly and her older brother, Andrew, play boyfriend and girlfriend and Veronica has permission to push him to the floor in their scene together.  She seemed to enjoy the opportunity.

We continue to block out the action and working out the attemped robbery and shooting scene is complicated.  It takes a while to figure out where everyone should be and how they should move.
