Over three nights, Democratic leaders took aim at Republican nominee, former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney, and his running mate Congressman Paul Ryan. A number of Massachusetts Democrats spoke at the convention, including Gov. Deval Patrick, Senate candidate Elizabeth Warren and Senator John Kerry.

Both conventions were high on rhetoric. Both sides stated goals, but neither provided one iota of a plan on how to reach those goals. Where's the beef?? Hopefully the debates will give us some hint of a road map.

The fiscal cliff to watch is the one you will see when further tax cuts are in place for the wealthiest few, and no cuts are made to either the entitlement programs or defense spending, which is the Romney platform...

We do need to think about what is best for all Americans regardless of affiliation. How anyone can think we're headed in the right direction I just don't see. How smart is it to repeat a failed recipe and expect a different outcome. We must have faith that change can only be for the better, but we all have to be willing to give it a try and allow it. We did that four years ago, why not now?

I think a test of 30 yrs vs 4 years is not a fair test... 4 more in the same administration would give us a better idea of what is going on... after all, things are indeed much better now than they were 4 yrs ago... by a long shot...
