PHOTO: Portsmouth Man Rallies for Presidential Candidate Mitt Romney

Did you see the one-man rally Wednesday near Clements' Market?

Portsmouth's Eric Isadore held a one-man rally for presidential candidate Mitt Romney Wednesday evening at the busy corner of East Main Road and Turnpike Avenue.

Isadore held up a Mitt Romney campaign sign. Many cars, as they drove by, honked in support.

This is the first of such political rallies to be held in Portsmouth for the 2012 season.

Did you see the sign? What do you think about this?

Never said you were a monkey. You seem to be the one involved in name calling. I am quite capable of doing my own research. I was simply asking you for the source of the list YOU put up and then started denigrating anyone who disagreed with it. You don’t seem to be able to express yourself without insulting. People who do that are usually covering up some inadequacy are lack of belief in what they are saying. You call me a good independent self-made American. Thank you for the compliment. You make it sound like a bad thing. I wonder why that is.

Government regulation and high taxes chased businesses off shore . The fact is it's to expensive to produce here ????????? So let me get this right, corporations move businesses off shore because it cost too much here but you get and recieve all types of tax breaks and in the millions of dollars. Is this not just like the countless number of people cheating Social Security, Medicare and welfare. For this economy to turn around we need to get more people working in this country instead of sending jobs to Asia, South America just to increase the profit margin. The rich still keep on getting richer while the middle class pay the price.

Kevin, I'm a centrist Democrat. I don't buy Toyotas, even thought they are more American than most of the "US" car companies offerings. Just a few years ago, the GOP screamed and yelled that you weren't patriotic or a good American if you even remotely questioned GWB. (Please remember right-wingers, he was all yours.) Now, it is commonplace for those same people to call a sitting President names? Wow, how does that work? And if I disrespected Joe, well, all the better. If he's 12 that would explain a lot. (I also haven't met many 12 year-olds that deserve my respect.
