Woman Tells Police She Deals Pot — But not on Aquidneck Island

After a traffic stop, Fall River, Mass.-woman found with an ounce-and-a-half of marijuana and drug dealing paraphernalia in her car.

A 20-year-old Fall River, Mass., woman is facing felony marijuana possession charges after she was caught with an ounce-and-a-half of pot, a scale, baggies, a list of names and a bundle of $675 cash after a traffic stop June 21.

Police said they stopped Kimberly Marie Krueger, of 297 Barnes St., at around 12:05 a.m. after an officer at a stationary traffic post saw her drive by in her 2000 Toyota Corolla with two inoperable license plate lights.

Once stopped, the officer smelled marijuana and they soon found the pot and paraphernalia inside her car.

Krueger reportedly told police that she sells marijuana in the Fall River area, but doesn’t distribute it on Aquidneck Island.

Police seized the marijuana, cash and other items and took Kruger into custody without incident.

Her car was towed from the scene and she was also issued a summons for a laned roadway violation, a broken plate light and transporting alcohol as a minor for a bottle of Captian Morgan rum police found in her car during their search.

Krueger was released on surety bail and is due to appear in Second District Division court on June 26 for arraignment.
