Teen, 14, Crashes Dad's Classic Car after Joyride
A 14-year-old Portsmouth boy is in trouble with the law – and his dad – after allegedly going for a joyride in his father's 1973 Plymouth Duster and crashing it into a Nissan Pathfinder on North Water Street on Saturday.

A 14-year-old Portsmouth boy is in trouble with the law – and his dad – after allegedly going for a joyride in his father's 1973 Plymouth Duster and crashing it into a Nissan Pathfinder on North Water Street on Saturday.
Police said the juvenile told them he took the car without his father’s permission and lost control when he took a corner on Summit Drive at North Water Street.
Police charged the teen with driving without a license and taking a motor vehicle without permission. When officers at the scene told his father they would be charging his son, he reportedly said “please do so, so he learns a lesson.”
