Police Net Eight DUI Arrests Over the Weekend

Police stepped up patrols in anticipation of the Newport St. Patrick's Day Parade on Saturday.

Portsmouth Police increased patrols over the weekend due to the Newport St. Patrick's Parade on Saturday and the effort netted them eight driving under the influence arrests. 

The department said the arrests occurred between Friday and Sunday.

Arrested were:

Christine E. Connell, 48, of 221 Chases Lane, Middletown, charged with DUI March 14 at 10:07 p.m. She registered blood alcohol levels of .111 and .108 in two breath tests. 

Stephanie K. Vaye, 21, of 521 West Ave., Pawtucket, charged with DUI March 15 at 4:56 p.m. She registered .195 and .195 in two breath tests.

Jessica M. Bowley, 31, of 5500 Fall River Ave., Fall River, Mass., charged with DUI, disorderly conduct and refusing a chemical test March 15 at 5:16 p.m.

Jonathan P. Knight, 53, of 74 Table Rock Road, Wakefield, charged with DUI March 15 at 7:15 p.m. He registered a .199 and .198 in two breath tests.

Daniel Joseph IV, 26, of 43 Luther St., Seekonk, Mass., charged with DUI and refusing a chemical test March 15 at 8:14 p.m.

Micha R. Scott, 23, 19 School Brook Road, Fall River, Mass., charged with DUI and refusing a chemical test March 15 at 8:14 p.m.

Christian D. Fortune, 33, of 94 Banville Road, Somerset, Mass., charged with DUI and refusing a chemical test March 15 at 11:32 p.m.

Brianne Desvergnes, 24, of 17 Westchester St., Littleton, Mass., charged with driving under the influence, possession of hallucinogenic mushrooms  and refusing a chemical test March 16 at at 2:06 a.m.
