Police Log: Two DUIs, Assault, Threats

The following arrest and incident information was provided by Portsmouth Police. It does not indicate a conviction.

DUIs
Police charged Emily Jean Parma, 23, of 31 Seneca Road, Portsmouth, with driving under the influence March 23 at 12:38 a.m

Police said Parma was stopped for allegedly drifting over the fog line on East Main Road and later failed a field sobriety test. At the station, she registered a blood alcohol reading of .210 and .207 in two separate tests. 

Police charged Kimberly Frances Clegg, 21, of 22 Palmer Ave., Tiverton, with driving under the influence March 22 at 11:48 p.m.

Police said Clegg was seen driving below the 25 mph speed limit on West Main Road by an officer on patrol.

Police said Clegg failed a field sobriety test and registered .197 and .193 blood alcohol levels at two separate tests at police headquarters.

ASSAULT, THREATS
Portsmouth Police charged Jalen Daniel O’Loughlin, 20, of 57 Beacon St., Middletown, with making threatening phone calls on March 20.

Police said O’Loughlin called a relative and threatened violence, including hitting the victim with a baseball bat, in a series of angry voicemails.

Police charged Sarah Elizabeth Mortimer, 24, of 247 Sakonnet Drive, Portsmouth, with domestic simple assault March 22 after she allegedly attacked a man who was trying to keep her from huffing from a can of Dust Destroyer.

Police said they found Mortimer in her car in the middle of Anthony Road at about 9:15 a.m.

After an investigation, they determined that Mortimer had committed an assault.

Police found several empty cans of Dust Destroyer and four unopened cans in a plastic bag after a search of her vehicle.
