DOMESTIC
Police charged Michael William Gaudreau, 39, of 479 Park Ave., Portsmouth, with disorderly conduct and felony narcotics possession on June 23 for a June 19 incident in which he allegedly yelled at another man and woman he reportedly didn’t like seeing together.

Police said they were dispatched to Gaudreau’s residence at around 9:30 p.m. for a report of a disturbance.

The aforementioned woman reportedly went to the house with a male friend to pick up her mother’s cell phone. The woman didn’t realize Gaudreau would be home and was surprised to see him when she entered the house.

UNDERAGE POSSESSION
Portsmouth Police charged two men with underage possession of alcohol after police came upon them inside a car with open beers after they stopped on the Common Fence Point Access Road for a pee break.

Police said an officer on patrol at around 7:05 p.m. saw a car parked in the travel lane next to Montaup Golf Course.

Inside were Andrew J. DeCotis, 19, of 414 Bulgarmarsh Road, Tiverton; and Jesse P. Greene, 20, of New Bedford, Mass, and the officer could see an open bottle of Budweiser on the passenger side floor.

Police also found a three-quarters full bottle of Samuel Adams on the front passenger floor of the car.

Both men admitted drinking the alcohol while in the car but police noted the keys were not in the ignition and the car was cold to the touch. The driver, DeCotis, also showed no signs of impairment.

Police towed the car and seized the beer and beer bottles as evidence.

Greene was charged with underage possession of alcohol and was released later that night.

DeCotis, along with the possession charge, was also cited for transporting alcohol as a minor.
