Police Arrest Man, Woman At Anthony House Apartments

The following is based on reports from the Portsmouth Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

Portsmouth police made the following arrests recently. 

Daryl Adams, age 44, with no known address, was arrested on Dec. 8 at 1:46 a.m. after police responded to the Anthony Apartments for a report of a disturbance. Adams was wanted on a bench warrant from Superior Court. He was also charged with simple assault and obstruction of an officer. Adams allegedly become involved in an argument with a 24-year-old woman. During the argument, he allegedly hit her in the face. Officers attempted to identify her and, according to police reports, he said he wasn't sure about her identity. 

Police also arrested Jessica Schmitt, 24, with no last known address, at the scene. Schmitt was arrested for obstruction after allegedly giving officers a false name. She was also wanted on two Second District Court bench warrants.

Jordan Neves, 26, of 34 Home Ave., Providence, arrested on recently on the charge of domestic vandalism. Police were called to a Turnpike Avenue residence for report of disturbance. Neves allegedly kicked a kitchen window out at the home of a 25-year-old Portsmouth woman.
