How to Help Family who Lost Home, Possessions in Fire

Within hours of the Raposa family suffering a severe fire to their Sprague Street home Thursday morning, friends and neighbors have banded together to start a relief effort to ease the family's long recovery process.

Already, nearly $4,000 has been raised on a youcaring.com Web site. Donating is easy, just click on "Give Now" under the link.

And in our post earlier today about the fire, people scrambled to find other ways of helping.

Here are the clothing sizes:

Children's sizes are girl size 8, boy size 4 bottom and size 5 shirts. Parents sizes are mom size 6 pants and medium shirts. The dad is size 30 pants and large shirts.

No word yet on a community drop-off site, but we'll post details as soon as we hear more.
