Friends and colleagues are congratulating the firefighter on his retirement, posting a light-hearted message on Facebook describing him as an "old man and follically challenged," yet he is still "probably still the most physically fit firefighter in the department."

"Ken managed to retire with his health and sanity, despite responding to thousands upon thousands of calls," the message said.
