Firefighters Battling Summit Road Blaze

Firefighters are battling a significant fire on 2 Summit Road in Portsmouth that broke out shortly before 4 p.m. Saturday.

The house reportedly collapsed.

Reports indicate that there were no injuries and firefighters are dealing with overhead power lines.

The 2,366 square foot, two-story single family home was built in 1948, according to town records.

Local neighbors have set up donations for this family for this Sat March 1st from 2:30-5 PM. There will also be a Family Walk at 3 pm with a suggested donation of $10 per family. Thank you for your help and concern for this family and their unfortunate event!
