City Man Picked Up on Two Arrest Warrants

Portsmouth Police supplied the following arrest information.

The following is an excerpt from the Portsmouth Police log from Sunday, Nov. 25 through Monday, Nov. 26.

Sunday:

  • At 1:12 p.m., police reported a simple assault on Wedgewood Road after the caller said her boyfriend pushed her 17-year-old daughter to the floor.
  • At 1:58 p.m., police arrested a Portsmouth man on Madison Street who was wanted as a fugitive from justice. Karl T. Pettiford, 59, of 188 Madison St., Apt. 13, in Portsmouth was wanted on a bench warrant.
  • At 2:31 p.m., police arrested a Portsmouth man on Maplewood Avenue and Cutts Street who was wanted as a fugitive from justice. Siobhan K. Hussey, 21, of 80 Osprey Drive in Portsmouth was wanted on two arrest warrants.
  • At 7:33 p.m., police reported a fight between two male teens on Wedgewood Road.

Monday:

  • At 11:04 a.m., police reported a bicycle theft on Middle Street.
  • At 1:34 p.m., police received an animal call for a dead pigeon under the Market Square Christmas tree.
  • At 2:48 p.m., police reported a theft after the caller said someone stole her purse on Woodbury Avenue.
