Watch Out for Turtles on Willow Lane

Slow down on Willow Lane.

Whilst standing in the rain, I witnessed for the third time on Willow Lane. (Yes, where the turkeys are.)  But I also have had to stand in the streets now three times, as a family of turtles walk across the street.

Now the police have put up speed signs. It does not work, after Magic Johnson was here I witnessed more then a crew of cars speeding up the streets. The Carnegie Abbey with all there fancy cars, don't have any respect.

We should put speed bumbs on Willow Lane. Let the idiots ruin there cars. AND make this road safe.

Save a turtle.

I love your story and compassion for these reptiles....but turtles ....,snapping turtles don't live together as a family. She lays her eggs and that's it. They're on their own. By the way..I love snapping turtles also. :)

I should post a photo of those turkeys! I honked to scoot them off the road, and they just came closer and closer to the car!!! Yes, on Willow Lanes as well, haha.

It never ceases to amaze me how many people simply cannot spell correctly, or lack the ability to properly form a sentence! Frightening, actually!!!

where is the "like" button on patch?
Sandy McGee (Editor) September 06, 2012 at 02:34 PM
It's a "recommend" button here instead of "like."

Thank you Sandy, I guess some people don't like my James Joyce style of American Literature. I guess I will have to start writing like E L James to be more hip with the american literature society.

they're not afraid of cars, but they'll run from actual people! once in awhile i'm woken up by people honking at them, which doesn't do anything but aggravate residents and turkeys!

The issue here is the crazy SPEEDING on this residential road!!! I know these turkeys well, and if anyone else remembers, that particular flock used to be a party of 4...I'm sure the Tom got taken out by one of these speeders!!
