Citizenship Awarded at Pennfield to Chris Herren
Every term Pennfield recognizes one person for the Upper School Citizenship Award. Last month, a new student - Chris Herren - earned that recognition.
This award is given in recognition of a courteous and considerate young person who, in a short amount of time, has joined the Pennfield community and shown himself to be an exceedingly sincere and humble leader.
In his countless positive daily interactions at school, Chris is unfailingly polite and always sets a fine example. Chris exemplifies Pennfield’s most valued tenets of Joy, Understanding and Respect, every single day.

A sincere and caring smile always on his face, Chris is a joyful person who is also serious about his academics. He works diligently, asks thoughtful questions in his classes, and is quick to help others or to ask for help when he needs it - Chris is a model student.
Without exception, Chris is among the most respectful citizens in our school community. Whether supporting his classmates, thanking his teachers after every class, or making remarkable connections with many preschool students during buddy group meetings, Chris is one of a kind. For all you do, we offer our thanks and congratulations, Chris Herren!
