Every Valentine's Day, men (and women alike) worry, obsess and cringe when it comes to shopping for the perfect gift for their loved one - and for good reason.
I've heard many gifts go horribly wrong. One friend thought it wise to give his girlfriend a gift certificate to a gym one year. Another thought it was wise to buy his wife a vacuum cleaner, and recommend she test it out right away.
One Christmas, my now-ex thought it wise to buy me jumper cables for my car. Needless to say, it wasn't meant to be.
