Ocean Wind Turbines Hurt RI

Wind Turbine Failures Rhode Island
Wind Turbine Failures Rhode Island
The commercial wind industry has already hurt the Town of Portsmouth with their dirty little secret of catastrophic gear box maintenance failures. The State of Rhode Island is facing at least 1 Billion in ocean wind turbine costs. That's one Billion "B" .How long does it take people to look at the big picture.  http://www.providencejournal.com/opinion/commentary/20140121-robert-shields-r.i.-will-be-hurt-badly-by-deepwater-wind.ece

Have we lost our way today given the sometimes confusing confluence of events where energy & public utilities is considered? Sheldon Whitehouse , never the less, continues to tinker with Energy and its conversion and distribution that previously realized an affordable, reliable, predictable portfolio of choices via well regulated public utilities. Energy & energy conversion is the foundation of our independent and sovereign nation and a key component of persevering a viable economy and even the basic defense of our nation and its citizens freedom, liberty & rule of law.. US Senator Sheldon Whitehouse very partisan & destructive position and a flat earth societies exhibited dark ages set of behaviors e.g. subscription to censorship, group think, intimidation and the companion thought police , if not abandoned, should and must result in his removal from what is one of the nations most critical challenges of our times. Sadly, US Senator RI Sheldon Whitehouse, based on his behaviors, has not exhibited the courage, capacity, conviction and leadership acumen necessary for the job.

US Senator RI Sheldon Whitehouse is driven by the" oil peak theory." The theory is the United States will run out of oil and our economy will fall to third world status. The only other way to keep our economy growing would be renewable energy. The US has used unknown amounts of stimulus funds buying foreign made commercial wind turbines in order to beat the timeline of running out of oil. The war on fossil fuels has caused health problems placing turbines too close to residential homes and as evidenced by the Portsmouth High School gear driven wind turbine the multi million dollar wind turbines only last 3 to 5 years .The turbines themselves have created a financial fiasco all by themselves. The politicians still keep getting campaign contributions from wind turbine contractors to support their lifetime jobs as politicians. Our politicians are no longer our representatives but the sales representatives of the commercial wind industry . The turbines fail before our very eyes and the programs continue .It's the dumbing down of America .....
