Private Funeral To Be Held Sunday for Tiverton's Bryan Henrique

Family and friends will gather Sunday to remember 21-year-old Bryan Henrique, who died Tuesday after a car crash on Stafford Road.

Family and friends will gather this Sunday to remember the late Bryan A. Henrique, who died in a tragic car crash early Tuesday, Aug. 6, on Stafford Road. 

Henrique, who turned 21-years-old on Tuesday, was born in Fall River, MA, and lived in Tiverton. 

The son of Jeffrey A. and Pamela (Griffin) Henrique, Bryan was a graduate of Tiverton High School's Class of 2010 and the received his certificate as a patient care technician from Healthcare Training Services in Fall River.

He was currently working at Quest Laboratories.

Bryan was an avid sports fan, especially when it came to the Miami Dolphins, his favorite team. He was athletic and played several sports throughout his life.

Bryan was a tenacious badminton player who enjoyed the time he spent with his family and friends, taking trips to the beach, and hanging around the barn fire at his home. His heart and compassion toward others and animals was immeasurable.

Besides his parents, survivors are a brother, Daniel J. Henrique and his wife, Bria, of Tiverton, RI; maternal grandmother, Anne Griffin of Little Compton, RI; paternal grandmother, Meribah Henrique of Tiverton, RI; a niece, Madilyn Henrique of Tiverton, RI; uncle and aunt, Harry Walker and his wife, Judy, of Portsmouth, RI; uncle and aunt, Bob Torres and his wife, Marian, of Florida; and three cousins, Joshua Passmore of Florida, Jessica Torres of California and Jared Torres of Florida. 

He was the grandson of the late Henry Griffin and Albert Henrique.

Bryan’s family will receive relatives and friends on Sunday morning from 10 a.m. to noon, followed by a funeral service and words of remembrance by family at noon. 

Flowers are omitted at the request of the family. All arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Hathaway Home for Funerals, 1813 Robeson St., Fall River, MA
