Obituary: Julia Margaret Petrarca, 99, 60-Year Portsmouth Resident

Julia Petrarca, 99, passed away peacefully at home. 

Born in Adams, MA on December 12, 1914 she was the wife of the late Felix A. Petrarca. 

She was the mother of the late Ralph Petrarca, and the late Felix Petrarca Jr., and the great grandmother of the late Kyle Johnson. 

She was a 60 year resident of Portsmouth, RI. Julia is survived by her daughter Dolores Petrarca Johnson of Portsmouth; her grandson Glenn Johnson and his wife Pamela of Shrewsbury, MA and their son Samuel Johnson; and her granddaughter Heidi Johnson of Portsmouth. 

Visiting hours and a memorial service will be at Connor’s Funeral Home, 55 West Main Rd, Portsmouth, RI on Saturday, May 31 at 11 am. 

Burial will be private. 

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in memory of Julia Petrarca, Jr. and Kyle P. Johnson to the Dana-Farber Cancer institute.
