Obituary: Felix A. Petrarca Jr., 70, Antiques Company Owner

Felix A. Petrarca Jr., 70, passed away peacefully at home on March 30, 2014 after a long illness. 

Born in Coventry, RI on March 26, 1944, he was a 60 year resident of Portsmouth, RI. 

Felix was a graduate of De La Salle Academy in Newport, RI and St. Anselm College. Mr. Petrarca was the owner and founder of the New Bedford Antiques Company prior to his retirement. 

Felix was the son of the late Felix A. Petrarca Sr. and Julia DiCarlo Petrarca. He was also the brother of the late Ralph Petrarca, formerly of Madeira Beach, Florida and the Uncle of the late Kyle Petrarca Johnson of Shrewsbury, MA. 

Felix is survived by his mother, Julia Petrarca and his sister Dolores Johnson, both of Portsmouth; his nephew Glenn Johnson and his wife Pamela of Shrewsbury, MA, his niece Heidi Johnson of Portsmouth, and great-nephew Samuel Johnson of Shrewsbury. 

A Memorial Service will be held at Connors Funeral Home, 55 West Main Road, Portsmouth, RI on Saturday, April 5, 2014 at 11 AM. 

Burial will be private.
