Obituary: Brenda Lee Lawrence, 72, Loved Music, Quahogging, Gardening and People

Brenda Lee (Davis) Lawrence, 72, of Portsmouth, died Friday, May 2, 2014 at home. She was the wife of Kenneth Lawrence

Born in Newport, RI, she was the daughter of the late Vernon Davis and Virginia (Perry) Warner.

Mrs. Lawrence was a graduate of Rogers High School. She loved music, playing the bass guitar and was the former bass player for Kenny Law and the Lawmen. Brenda loved quahogging, gardening and people in general.

Besides her husband, she leaves her children, Virginia Lane and her husband Steve of Crystal River, FL, Georgette Dinniman and her husband Mark of Tucson, AZ, Kenneth Lawrence and his wife Kate of Lafayette, LA, and James Lawrence Bristol, RI, as well as eleven grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews

Brenda was the sister of the late Judith Warner.

Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday, May 7, 2014, from 5:00-7:00p.m., in the Connors Funeral Home, 55 West Main Road, Portsmouth.

Burial will be private.
