And how many signatures? When will the list be submitted to the Governor?

Don't know how many signatures, I don't count them, before the elections and again when the assrmbly comes back in janurary

Of course nobody wants a toll, but why does anyone think that any number of signatures is going to make any difference whatsoever? Don't mean to be so negative, but I like to think I'm simply being realistic.

Since #1 the toll will be double taxation, which dosn't seem legal at all #2 with all the names that are signing the petition and all the bussiness that say it we be economicly harmful to them, leading to job losses and and less sales tax revenue for the state i don't believe that any economic study could ignore those factors, there is no way that any tolls on rt 24 will not have a bad effect on bussiness in Newport county

1000, new signatures yesterday, not including 20 from Bristol, Bredan Doherty holds a news conference about the tolls, WPRO's Dan York starts speaking about them, they even get mentioned on the sports page, And I will say that when this startedI and other's wondered if we were being realistic, would enough people care? The answer has been a solid YES, The folks of Newport County see the econmic downfall of this and are banding together, NOW VOTE, signing the Petition is a VOTE against this act of siphoning money from our county to pay for mismanagement upstate, We need ALL the Taxpayers and voters to sign, YOU 18, signed up, then vote!! get your friends parents neighbors, go door to door, Remember once this toll hits it will be there for generations YOU, your kids, their kids, STOP IT NOW, get active! get LOUD, call write, phone in, hell paint it on yer dog!!
