Portsmouth Woman To Raise Funds for Philippines' Relief Worker

Monica Silva Burnley of Portsmouth needs your help raising funds for a special trip.
"One of my dear friends is from the Philippines and she has witnessed so much loss of lives and property in the humble town where she was born, raised, educated, started a nursing career and was married to her wonderful husband Pastor George Mendes," Monica writes. "Her heart broke into million little pieces as she took in one despairing news after another regarding her family, relatives, church mates, friends and former teachers."
Monica's friend is now planning a trip to help those victims.
"Weeks have now passed and there is an opportunity for her to respond to the overwhelming needs in Tacloban and its neighboring towns," she writes. "Her church, Saddleback Church is sending several PEACE Relief Teams to her region from December 2013 to the summer months of 2014."
Monica is raising money to send her friend on this relief team trip. She has already raised $450.
