Spring is here, and Cape Cod and Nashville’s own multi-talented singer-songwriter Kami Lyle is teaming up with the darling, multi-talented singer-songwriter Kimon Kirk of New England’s “Session Americana” fame for an intimate evening of songs and stories. Kami's bandmates Jon Evans (bass player for Cher & Tori Amos), Tad Price (lead guitarist for Steve Forbert), and percussionist Rikki Bates will be accompanying both performers. 

Kami Lyle is a singer-songwriter, pianist, and trumpet player. She attended Berklee College of Music, and upon graduation immediately moved to Nashville. A buzz grew quickly, landing Kami a recording contract with MCA Records. Kami’s first album, “Blue Cinderella,” produced by Hugh Padgham (Sting, Melissa Etheridge, Phil Collins) put her on VH1 with the single “Polka Dots” and was well-received by critics and fans alike. She moved to Cape Cod with husband Joey Spampinato (NRBQ) where she released her second album, “Ten Songs.” 

With a distinctive voice and unique style, Kami has a powerful impact on audiences, leaving listeners spellbound with the musical potions she creates. Whether lush and mysterious or playfully coy, she is a cool splash of water to any listener’s face.

Kimon Kirk has played the bass and provided harmony vocals for such artists as Aimee Mann and Sarah Borges, and was a founding member of Session Americana, winners of multiple Boston Music Awards. Recent bass-playing engagements have included stints with Melissa Ferrick and Lori McKenna. Kimon is a talented singer and a gifted songwriter in his own right and has recorded two solo albums.
