Harvest Social: An Old Fashioned Good Time

There will be games, prizes, and activities for young and old. There may even be “guest appearances” from characters from Portsmouth’s past. An old fashioned sing-a-long starts at 3PM. Refreshments are provided and there will be delicious baked goods on sale. The Harvest Social is our main fund-raising event this year, so come and bid on our wonderful silent auction items. Our featured item is  a watercolor of the Prescott Farm windmill. You can also bid on a framed silver gelatin, black and white photograph of Blue Bill Cove (taken from the Hummocks) and matted black and white prints of Glen Farm in the snow. Antiques, such as a vintage doll trunk, will also be included in the silent auction. Gift baskets include a “Read to Me” bag of children’s picture books, a genealogy kit and many more.  No admission fee but donations are very gratefully accepted.
