Four Corners Arts Presents: Smith & Weeden & the Little Compton Band

Join us for a night of amazing music by two local Rhode Island bands, Smith & Weeden, & the Little Compton Band. Grab a seat on the lawn of the Meeting House, a bite to eat from our local Tiverton Food Truck, Z Food Truck and relax or dance during an great night of music!

Seamus Weeden and Jesse Emmanuel Smith met way back in the day working at grocery store. A few conversations assured them that they were musically simpatico. After playing in a few different lineups with a few different names, they decided to make it a duo of voices and guitars. They’ve been playing shows around the Northeast ever since. They want to make you tap your feet, and then cry, and then dance, and then maybe sing along.

The LCB is a musical team rooted in the backwoods of Little Compton, known for their diverse musical interests, playing captivating sets ranging in genre from reggae to jazz to Southern rock. The Band, comprised of Little Compton Natives, Silas Campbell (Keyboard & Guitar), Silas Peckham-Paul(Bass), Even Poitras (Drums), Atticus Allen(Strings & Things/ Vocals), and Jimi O’Conner (Lead Guitar, & Main Vocals), have been playing together since they were sixth- and seventh-graders at Wilbur-McMahon School in Little Compton.
