Cooking Demo & Tasting at the Market w/ Persimmon Restaurant

“Chefs-at-the-Market" with Chef Champe Speigel of Persimmon:

The next installment of the Chefs-at-the-Market series will feature Champe Speidel of Persimmon Restaurant in
Bristol & Persimmon Provisions in Barrington. A James Beard Award
Semi-finalist, Speidel is passionately committed to featuring local
foods in his restaurant and butcher shop.

Speidel will be
doing a demonstration & tasting at the market from 10:30am -
12:00pm. Market-goers will be able to observe, learn a new recipe or
technique, discover how to work with a particular ingredient they might
be unfamiliar with, and taste delicious food prepared by a talented
local chef.

Mount Hope Market is a year round Farmers Market
located at the Mount Hope Farm, at 250 Metacom Ave in Bristol, RI.  In
the winter months the market takes place in the farms’ large converted
barn, and in the summer it moves out to the pasture, along Metacom Ave.
The market offers Vegetables, Flowers, Herbs, Fruits, Meats, Eggs,
Cheese, Fish, Coffee, Bread, Pastries, Prepared Foods, Jams &
Relishes, Soaps, Live music, Demonstrations, and a food-scraps/compost
drop-off site. Debit & Credit Cards are accepted at the market.
