Who's Portsmouth's Person of the Year?

TIME magazine names their person of the year every year. Tell us who you think should win from our town!

Time magazine invited votes on 40 candidates, including Barack Obama, Gabby Douglas and Kim Jong Un, as the person of the year for 2012. Other options included The Mars Rover and the Higgs Boson Particle.

But who cares about the same-old, same-old? Who is Portsmouths Person of the Year—the man or woman who, in Timespeak, “most influenced the news this year for better or worse”?

Tell us your pick in the comment section below!

Ted Clement for his ten years of service leading the Aquidneck Land Trust, raising awareness about our living environment and ensuring protection of hundreds of acres of land. Many will miss his leadership

I Vote For Sandy McGee. Without Her Tireless Dedication To The Patch, None Of Us Would Know What Was Going On Around Portsmouth. Kudos To You Sandy.

Alan Wojichowski, his commitment to the town of Portsmouth is uncontested, working day in and day out to make this a better place to live for all of us. Always greeting people with a smile or maybe a song or dance, not to mention he is devilishly handsome.

Dan Reilly for exceeding expectations and standing up to organized crime organization otherwise known as the democrat controlled general assembly. He was taken out by the radical left, but he will be back.
