Snow on the First Full Day of Spring, Really?

Portsmouth experiencing a snowstorm after a week of pleasantly warm temperatures.

At this point, March Madness doesn't only apply to basketball. It can be said of the weather, too.

Spring may have officially began last night around 7:20 p.m., but Portsmouth's first full day of spring has had its share of freaky weather conditions. The snow began falling around 10:30 a.m. this morning and is still going strong as of 1 p.m. Rain replaced the flakes around 3 p.m., according to the National Weather Service.
