Blizzard of 2013: Tell a Neighbor Thank You

Did someone do something nice for you during the storm? Tell them thank you!

The lights are on, the snow is melting and services are restored — we weathered (the worst) of the storm.  Not one of us did it alone.  We had National Grid, Red Cross, town employees, volunteers and most importantly, our friends, neighbors and the community.  It is our neighbors who picked up the shovels, pushed our cars out of snow, watched our children or maybe just listened.

If someone made this storm easier for you tell them thank you here, in the comment section below.

Because as Oscar Wilde said, "The smallest act of kindness is worth more than the grandest intention."

We have a neighbor that mows grass around the neigborhood during the summer. He has a plow attachment for the tractor he uses and he came to our street and opened the driveways of several houses on our street, including ours. Thanks Glenn, your the best. Stan

Thank you Dani & Kids for giving up your warmer space to our family Saturday night. Thank you Sue and Bob... best coffee in the world! Thank you Priscilla T. for all the offers for warmness! Thank you Kevin for what you did, and thank you all for the FB statuses and other forms of communication while we were all out... sure helps when we can all commiserate together and Cedar Ave in IP, we've got great neighbors!
